Biswakarma puja.

Bisakarma Puja and Kanya Sankranti.

Biswakarma Puja is an important festival in Odisha.It is dedicate to Lord Bisakarma. The festival observed  is on the Kanya Sankranti Day (September) which follows the Ganesh Puja. The festival celebrate  is Artisans, craftsmen, mechanics, smiths, welders, industrial workers, factory workers of all kind worship lord Biswakarma on this day pray for a better future, safe working conditions and above all success in their life.
 ThisFestival celebrate in Uttar Pradesh, Karnatak, Assam, West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand, Tripura and Odisha.Lord Biswakarma is considered to be the best worker, the symbol of quality excellance craftmanship. The festival celebrate is worker and wear new dress.

Suna Besha.

 Suna Besha and Hala Nisedha.
Suna Besha or golden attire of Lord Jagannath. Suna Besha is observed five times during a year.
  First day fall on: Pousa Purnima(December)  
  Second day:        Dola Purnima(March)
  Third day:           Bahuda Ekadashi(July)
  Fourth day:         Karthik Purnima(November)
and Fiveth day:     Dasahara(October).
The last Besha is observed during Rath Yatra on the chariot in front of Temple after returning from Gundicha Temple, other four Besha observed inside temple on Ratna Singhasana. On the day of Bada Ekadasi.
This Besha has been observed since 1232.The king of Anaga Vima Dev in established. The Gods are decorated with various gold ornaments  during Suna Besha. The totla weight of the golden ornaments are more than two quintal or 208 kg. 
Lord Jagannath, Balabhadra and Goddess Subhdra wore golden crown, golden peocock father, golden necklace and many other ornaments.The devotees started the Darshan of the deities at around 5 PM and continued all night. The Lord Jagannath, Balabhadra and Goddess Subhdra wear the yellow color traditional silk pata saree.

Shree Gundicha Yatra.

Gundicha yatra is a Hindu fesyival. Gundicha temple is a hindu  temple, it is situated in puri town.This festival fall on the odiya month of  Asadha(june). The Ratha yatra Lord Jagannatha, Baladeva and Goddess  Subhadra Devi, along with Sudarsana, leave Jagannath Mandira for nine days. One day for travelling to Gundicha, seven days spent there, and one day to return home. This journey is know as to Gundicha Yatra, Nava Dina Yatra("nine days journey"), or Ghosa Yatra. 

This festival important in chhera pahara. The puri king Gajapati wears the outfit of a sweeper and sweeps cleans the road. Chera pahara is held on the two days, on the first day of the Rayta Yatra, when the deities are taken to garden house at Maushi Maa Temple and again on the last day of the festival, when the deities are ceremoniously brought back to the Shri Mandir.The People believe 
if the pulling the carts rope  there fulfil  there all wish. The women's  wear Traditional silk saree  and men wear kurta enjoy this day.

Raksha Bandhan

Raksha Bandhan is ahindu festival.The festival celebrate in brother and sister love.
It is celebrate on the full moon on the day the festival falls on odia month of Shravana (Shravana Poornima)(August).  Raksha means 'protection' and Bandhan means 'bond' therefour it means the bnd of lone and protection. The festival is also called as Rakhi Poornima, Nariyal Poornima and Kajari Poornima in different states and is celebrated differently. 
The brother in return offers a gift to his sister and vows to look after her.  Before tying a Rakhi on their brothers hand the sisters first tie a Rakhi on the Tulasi plant and the another Rakhi on the peepal tree asking for the protection of nature – Vriksha Raksha Bandhan.
The girls bind the rakhi and wear the new dress.

The festival falls on odiya month of Vaishakh.
The festival is celebrate pana sankranti, Hauman jayanti, pana parba and shri Radharamandeba jayanti. Pana sankarnti or Maha Bisubha sankarnti also know as Mesha Sankarnti, is celebrate as the odiya New year . 
This festival celebrate on this particular day, a small pot filled with pana or sweet drink .Dadan Nacha or Danda Nata famous of in festival.  Dadan Nacha Dedicated to Goddess Kali.

Nuakhai is the odisha festival. Nuakhai is the most important festival in Sambalpur, Jharsuguda, Kalahandi, Bolangir and Koraput. Nuakhai is observed to welcome the new rice of the season. 

It is observed on panchami tithi the odia month of  Bhadraba (August- September) the day after the Ganesh Chaturthi festival. Women's drape beautiful sambalpuri sarees and men wear traditional kurtas during nuakhai celebration.

The Nuakhai festival meanly observed agricultural people. Nuakhai is major festival in Western odisha. The festival Worship the laxmi maa. Nuakhai is a festival and celebration of happiness, different types of local sweet and foods are cooked. Nuakhai is also called Nuakhai or Nuakahi Bhetghat.
