Rathayatra (Car Festival) of Puri District in State of Odisha, is famous of all over the world, Because the lord Gaganartha, lord Balabhadra and Goddess Subhadra were leave from the Temple for appearance to all religious people of the world.
The Car Festival held in the month of July.
There are three cars are run at that festival named
(1) Nadighosa
(2) Taladhwaja and
(3) Dabadalana.
To decorate the Rath handloom cotton and silk clothes are used.
